North London House

North London House

Planning consent was given to convert flats in a double fronted house back into a family house. Partitions and walls were removed to reinstate the layout of the original house. The roof of a single storey square bay at the rear was removed and fitted with structural glass to create a glazed roof over part of the kitchen

The kitchen has an island unit that houses the cooking, washing and preparation areas with food storage and ovens mounted in the tall units along the wall. The hardwood floors run through into the drawing room.

The main stairs are painted white with black painted handrails and newel posts.
The moorish tiles sit well with the simple egg bath, wash stand and antique mirror.
