Oxfordshire house

Planning consent was granted to enlarge this Arts and Crafts house, by adding a new wing and entrance porch with clock tower. The main entrance was re-sited to the west end of the house, with steps behind battered stone walls rising to the entrance terrace. Metalwork gates were designed for the re-built stone gateway and the house fully refurbished with en-suite bathrooms to each bedroom.

The Arts and Crafts house was fully refurbished and period details removed by the previous owners were reinstated. Planning consent was granted for a new wing and entrance porch and a new entrance created with access via a stone divided staircase. The battered terrace walls were built of dry stone walling. An oak garden room was built on the south front for summer dining.
A new wing was constructed to complement the original west elevation and a new front door added. The stone canopy and door surround was designed for the project and carved on site. The battered dry stone walls continue round to the front elevation.
New metalwork gates were designed and made up for the re-built archway.
The front door, stone surround and canopy, and mullioned side windows were designed and carved on site for the new entrance. Oak doors were designed and made for the main and porch entrances.
